Todays receipe is a chocolate cake. I made ganache. Ganache is a chocolate mixture which is used as frosting or as filling.
Ingredients

Maida or All-purpose flour - 13/4 C
Sugar - 13/4 C
Unsweetened Cocoa pwder - 3/4 C
Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
Boiling water - 1 C
Milk - 1 C
Oil or Melted buter - 1/2 C
Baking Powder - 11/2 tsp
Baking soda - 11/2 tsp
Sugar - 13/4 C
Salt - 1 tsp
Egg - 1
Method:-

1. Pre-heat the oven at 350F.
2. Take a cake beater or a Mixer jar. To that add egg, milk, oil and essence. Add one by one and beat them well.
3.Meanwhile in a bowl mix Cocoa powder, Baking powder,Baking soda, Flour, Sugar and salt.Add this to the above in the mixer jar and run for 15 to 20 minutes or until the batter is smooth and all the ingredients are well mixed.
4. Now add boling water.
5. Take a baking pan. Grease the pan with oil spray.
6. Now pour the batter and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or till the toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
Ganache
----------
Cocoa Powder - 1/2 C
Butter - 1 stick (Melted butter approximately 1 stick)
Milk - 1/3 C
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Icing sugar - 1 C
Method:-
---------
1. To the melted butter add cocoa powder and boil.
2. To this add the remaining ingredients and beat it well.
3. Spread this warm mixture on the baked cake as frosting.
